So far away on distant lands
Fate has driven a wedge between us
A divide we can’t easily cross
When all we have are imaginary wings
So at least our souls can embrace
My heart doesn’t beat like it used to
It misses you profusely of your touch
I remember waking up to your sleeping eyes
Looking at the gentle calm of your beauty
Before you put on your face for the world
We now have our own stars to chase
I’m sure fate will reunite us again
When It’s time to sail back home
Lets cast a pebble to ripple on the sea
So we feel each others touch once again
Sweet poem 👌
