Life is everywhere whether you know it or not

In the soil and the sky even the canvas of your cot

No matter how big or small short or tall

It’s what surrounds us and encompasses us all

Connection to life is what we inherit

Not jewels or money or even a gold karat

We breathe the same air and grow under the same sun

And yet we destroy things with regard to none

This planet and everything on it is for all of us to share

It pains the heart to watch things die with no conscience or care

Life is for all to live and not of our choice

It’s time we start to love all things full of heart and rejoice
